1. What is Technical Analysis?
தொழில்நுட்ப பகுப்பாய்வு என்றால் என்ன?
English:
Fundamental Analysis checks the company’s health.
Technical Analysis checks the market’s mood using price and volume.

அடிப்படை பகுப்பாய்வு நிறுவனத்தின் நிலைமை பார்க்கிறது.
தொழில்நுட்ப பகுப்பாய்வு சந்தையின் மனநிலையை, விலை மற்றும் வர்த்தக அளவை வைத்து பார்க்கிறது.
Main Idea:
Price already includes all news. Charts show crowd psychology.
கருத்து:
செய்திகள் எல்லாம் விலைக்குள் சேர்ந்து விடும்.
சார்ட்கள் மக்களின் மனநிலையை காட்டும்.
2. Charts – The Language of the Market
சார்ட்கள் – சந்தையின் மொழி
Charts help us see past price movement.
Types of Charts (சார்ட் வகைகள்)
A. Line Chart (கோடு சார்ட்)
- Simple line connecting closing prices
- Easy for beginners
B. Bar Chart (பார் சார்ட்)
- Shows Open, High, Low, Close
- More details than line chart
C. Candlestick Chart (மெழுகுவர்த்தி சார்ட்)
- Most popular chart type
- Shows buyer vs seller strength visually
3. Candlestick Basics
மெழுகுவர்த்தி சார்ட் அடிப்படைகள்
Each candle shows price action for one time period.
Parts of a Candle:
- Body – open & close price
- Wick – highest & lowest price
Green Candle
Price closed higher → Buyers strong
(விலை உயர்ந்து முடிந்தால் → வாங்குபவர்கள் வலுவாக உள்ளனர்)
Red Candle
Price closed lower → Sellers strong
(விலை குறைந்து முடிந்தால் → விற்பவர்கள் வலுவாக உள்ளனர்)
4. Trends – The Direction of the Wind
டிரெண்ட்ஸ் – காற்றின் திசை
Prices move like waves but follow a direction.
A. Uptrend (மேல் நோக்கிய டிரெண்ட்)
Higher highs + higher lows
(உயர்ந்த உச்சம், உயர்ந்த அடித்தளம்)
Strategy: Buy on dips
B. Downtrend (கீழ் நோக்கிய டிரெண்ட்)
Lower highs + lower lows
(குறைந்த உச்சம், குறைந்த அடித்தளம்)
Strategy: Sell on rise
C. Sideways Trend (பக்கவாட்டுச் சந்தை)
Price moves in a range
(விலை ஒரு வரம்புக்குள் நகரும்)
Strategy: Trade between support & resistance
5. Support and Resistance
தரை மற்றும் மேற்கூரை
Imagine a ball bouncing in a room.
Support (தரை)
Price stops falling and bounces up.
Why? Buyers think price is cheap.
Resistance (மேற்கூரை)
Price stops rising and falls back.
Why? Sellers think price is expensive.
6. Breakouts – When Walls Break
சுவர்கள் உடையும் நேரம்
Support Break
Price falls below support → strong bearish move
Resistance Break
Price goes above resistance → strong bullish move
Tip: Breakout with high volume is strong signal.
7. Volume – The Power Behind the Move
வர்த்தக அளவு – இயக்கத்தின் சக்தி
Volume shows how many shares traded.
High Volume: Strong interest
Low Volume: Weak move
Rule:
Price + Volume moving together = reliable signal
8. Moving Averages – The Smooth Trend Line
மூவிங் அவரேஜ் – சராசரி டிரெண்ட் கோடு
Moving average shows average price.
Popular Types:
- 20 Day MA → short term trend
- 50 Day MA → medium trend
- 200 Day MA → long term trend
Simple Rule:
Price above MA → bullish
Price below MA → bearish
9. RSI – Is the Stock Too Hot or Too Cold?
RSI – பங்கு அதிகமாக வாங்கப்பட்டதா?
RSI = Relative Strength Index (0 to 100)
- Above 70 → Overbought (Sell zone)
- Below 30 → Oversold (Buy zone)
10. Common Beginner Mistakes
